Xenos Rampant: Kindred vs Weird War German Werewoles vs Cool Blue Meanies

Been a while since we dusted these off... As usual with Xenos Rampant, the game was high paced and I did not take enough photos, sorry! Decided to take my Kindred , as I haven't used them yet . What are Kindred? Think late WW1 era British infantry, but actually Halflings, with laser rifles, lewis guns, and bare feet, with putees! These are actially my MkII Kindred, as the original Kindred went to someone else alongwith my Grymm and other sci-fi stuff, but, I have no idea who. Kindred : 3 x Light Infantry with Armour Piercing and 2 with Heavy Weapons 1 x Support with Armour Piercing and Heavy Weapons (Vickers HMG team) 1 x Armoured vehicle (MkIV tank) with armour piercing and slow Mark brought his werewolf backed Weird War WW2 Germans , 2 x Greater Xenos with Razor Sharp Blades 1 x Elite Infantry (HQ) 1 x Heavy Infantry 1 x Recon Infantry with sniper upgrade. Mortal Gods

Footsore recently released this rather fun game, based around 28mm skirmish fighting in ancient Greece. Tried it at Campaign, then got a set for my birthday from Manny and Rob at Boards and Swords . This month's batch of Mortal God's figures, some new, some old. Athenians - bought when the rules first came out in 2019, just after doing evveryone elses's stuff, I had lost the mojo to do these, plus my Thespians have been serving me well. But, with the great shed tidy, and continued popularity amoung my friends, it was about time. The Athenian set had lead heroes, and plastic hoplites/peripoli, but I decide that I can use any of my other hopilites to fill in for the citizens, and that actaully, I sould get on with the lead.
