Phillip and I met up a couple of weeks ago for another game of Warband . Phillip was using the Hugh Elves, d6+2 cinc, d6+2 mage, 2 powerful archers, 3 shieldwall with resolute spears, 2 powerful knights and a unicorn. A solid, powerful list that can dseal damage and take it. I brought out my Taurians , one of my favourite lists, but not been out in yeras. a d6 general, a d6 mage, 3 minotaurs (one with a hero) ...

 Phil and I met up for a game of Warband at Leighton Buzzard Wargames club. I brought the armies, threw a few pieces of terrain on the table and we had a lot have a lot of fun. Hugh Elves +2 General (resolute & shieldwall) +2 Mage 2 x Knights  (fierce) 3 x Warriors (Resolute, shield wall) 2 x archers (formed, powerful) 1 x unicorns Gobbos +2 General (fierce) +1 Mage 4 x Warriors (fierce) 2 x Archers 2 x Wolf Riders (one with hero) 1 x Trolls Turn 1: So, getting generals to move, even when boosted, on a +4, typical! Goblins advanace, ELves sit back and wait. Skeleton stand used as measuring device! Elven cavalry and unicorns come forwards, foot lags behind, while Elven archers move up to fire. Elven CinC fails to activate (it's a running theme with ELven generals). Magic from the Shamen boosts the Wolf Riders who charge in on the Evelen Knights, while the unicorns pile into the Goblin Shamen, curtailing his casting abilities!   Dave the Necromancer looked at the ford and beyond the river line. A light mist floated up from the banks. "So, we, the undead, are defending a water source?" "Looks like it, Dave."
