Timecast terrain

Timecast tarmac roads for modern games.  https://www.timecastmodels.com/flexible-terrain Must have bought these prior to lockdown. Finally got round to painting them between other batches and while England Lionesses played Sweden (it went to penalties) I added road markings (and I spent a good while looking up German junction markings). Markings are a tad too wide for scale, but I figured that once they're on table they'll be fine.     Timecast 's amazing marshy ground and rough ground. Painted up really easily, look fantastic. Just finished these in time for  Warfare , Rough ground Marshes , with added Vallejo still water Thank you Mark and Barrie, truly excellent!

Timecast Range 38 10mm Terrain - Rivers, Bridges, Roads and Fields commission.

Lee asked me to do some terrain for him, I thought, yeah, why not.  Oops, missed a field! Caught it now and sorted it A VERY large Timecast order arrived. About 2kg worth of Timecast latex and three bridges! Glad I had a 2" brush handy to start the process off with base coats and inks. I painted these in the same basing colours as Lee's GNW Swedes and his ACW Union that I completed previously. Roads: Not the best light, but no way were two foot sections going to fit into my lightbox! Clumps and tufts match his basing too. Fields A mixture of ploughed and growing (watch for Timecast's new 28mm range) Rivers in two sizes, with fords. These have a dappled pva layer over them to give them a semi-gloss finish. You can just see the stippling on the fords The Timecast river sculpts are smooooooooth, so the PVA helps trick the eye. Bridges and rocky ground The blue isn't that bright! Love Timecast's details! They wor...

New terrain

Timecast 18th Century German church at Gueldengossa, near Leipzig, my spin on it. It's been sitting on my desk, started and inked, for months. I just needed to do something of my own between other people's armies! Bat's eye view   David had a spare 3d printed castle ruin which I bought off him. Useful strongpoint in many future games I feel. Quck and easy paintjob, but it works Bit of a fixer upper! Upper floor is removable too Adding to my 10mm terrain, comes some lovely Red Vector 10mm fences,  Okay, these are great! Thanks Leon . German motorcylists for target practise scale Right a bit... Three Timecast North African shops in 10mm for my collection. A few more 10mm buildings, to flesh out my Napoleonic Austrians and then to add a village to my desert terrain.   Firstly from Battlescale . A chapel A watermill, both small compared to Timecast, but useful non the less. A market cross/village sh...
