Wooden Spoon for MeG at Attack, Devizes this weekend.

It's a chariot theme, can you tell? Hope I don't win it, again! Hope to see some of you there. I'll be using 10mm Saitic Undead in the MeG chariot themed competition.

Hammerin' Iron rematch - The Battle of ReachoutIllbethere.

David and I met up at Leighton Buzzard Wargames for another run out of Hammerin' Iron, Peter Pig 's awfully fun ACW riverine rules. We used the same fleets as last time, see the link to see them. The scenario was I (as Union) had to sink all but one of David's boats, he had to sink half of mine.  It took me until at least turn three before my any of my fleet arrived! A Miami class ship was positioned to stop the Confederates leaving the table. Next turn, while all bar one of David's fleet approached, my second ship, USS Planter, appeared. It only has front and rear guns, so position has to be careful! My two started picking on CSS Selma. A few turns later, and my boats arrived en masse! On the left, in the far distance, Miami (I) is fighting off CSS Tuscaloosa, but CSS Selma is surrounded by USS Planter, USS Miami (II), USS Sassacus, and the mighty, tiny USS Fuscia. They all proceeded to smash into the Confederate ship. To the left, you can just see USS Essex arriving

Warband: A scrap at the ford, Undead vs High Elves

Dave the Necromancer looked at the ford and beyond the river line. A light mist floated up from the banks. "So, we, the undead, are defending a water source?" "Looks like it, Dave." Bob the Necromancer answered, "All six of us who are alive do need that water." The mist curled round their feet as the two sullen necromancers looked on at the approaching High Elves, it was definitely getting thicker in patches, and forming shapes. "High Elves, quite a lot of them too." "Ve will crush zem," the mist condensed into the form of a tall, pale vampire lord. "GAH!" "SSHHHHIIII..." "WIll you STOP doing that boss!" Bob the Necromancer shook his head. Mort popped over for a game today (I had the day orft), he really enjoyed our last game and wanted another. This time he chose High Elves. The next army down the shelf was my Undead, so that was an easy choice made. My list: D6+1 Vampire Lord D

Frostgrave Warband; four more skeletons

Four more skeletons, a gift from my lovely neighbour Brian. Two Prinz August self molded skeletons and two games workshop skeletons. Back view Quite a mix of weaponry Charge   Antediluvian Miniatures recently produced these, and I just had to have them! Left - Right Heinrich Kemmler, Lord Krell, Ranlac the Black and Mikeal Jacsen! The four main characters based on the illustrations within 'The Terror of The Lichemaster warhammer 2nd edition mini-campaign. PDF here They are the main antagonsits of the campaign, and genuinely nasty pieces of work! I moved the arm pose on Krell to give him some depth For c£20 they are lot bigger, and a damn sight more affordable, that the price the originals go for on ebay!   Three (maybe two, one is a mounted version of himself, the one with the beer mug), two on the left are 'Kalmarr' from CP models, one
