Warhammer Old World, Combined Forces of Goblotopia vs Lizardmen

Mark and I got together for a fight. Warhammer Old World at 2000 points. I decided to use my Goblin forces of 'Waaargh Jason' from Goblotopia, while Mark used his Lizards.
On the left, Stumpy Jason and his wolf riders, then skirmishing archers, a bolt thrower, big unit of Night goblin spears, with my army standard Not As Big Jason and my general Big Jason (mk III, this time without the giant squig), on their right a large unit of Night Goblin archers.
Facing off - Mark's cold one riders, big lizards, a low level shaman, more lizards, skink skirmishers and a Slann high level mage.

On the right, the rest of the archers (I said it was big, it filled the hill), Weird Jason a level 4 mage; squigs and herders, spider riders, then a unit of Goblin wolf rider archers, out of shot, cautious Jason and his wolf riders.
Opposing this half, past the slann, more lizard warriors, more skirmishing skinks (two units), and fire breathing salamanders.

Mark advanced a unit of skinks in cover to snipe at my spider riders, who did not like that, so ran them over!

Woooh! A huge dinosaur! Didn't the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event happen here?

One failed terror test, we weren't pursuing there! Unfortunately, the spiders were about to be fried by the salamanders.

Stumpy Jason's wolf riders clash with the Cold One riders. On the charge it is pretty even, but the heavy lizards would chew lumps out of the gobbos .

Mark advanced onto my centre, but being night goblins, the centre was full of fanatics which did what they do best and span off through skirmishers, the Kroxys and lizardmen. Then the archers did the same. The skink skirmishes were toast; the other two units were badly beaten up

Two of them came back the way they came from, okay, it didn't help my gobbos, but eh,millions more where they came from! Now the Lizzy's were really suffering. Another turn and Mark's centes unit was about to disintegrate. On the right, the squigs were munching the lizards too. Unfortunately, to the right, two goblin wolf rider units and the spiders had been immolated by the salamander unit. Stumpy Jason's wolf boys had also left the scene, pursued by the cold one riders. It was going as well as Gobbos always goes!

There was half an army here hree turns ago! My squiggs were really chewing through teh lizards, and maybe, just maybe, they might caused a break test. Weird Jason looks on, wondering whether he has got any spells that might help? Good news was, being an arch-mage, he was able to counter nearly all the Slann's spells, except the fireballs that wrre quickly toasting my archers.

We called it there after four turns, with Mark emphatically ahead. He reckons another turn, and he might hae lost his three main battle units. I very much doubt it! ;) The luck was very much going his way, we were both throwing appauling dice, just mine were more appauling than his!
A great game, and a rematch will happen soon - I will one with Gobbs one day, although I keep looking at orcs, maybe replacing a wolf unit or two.

Weird Jason looked over at Big Jason, "You didn't die?"
"But we did lose Stumpy Jason and Cautious Jason," the new boss mused...
"Plenty more where they came from." The mage uttered as he wandered off.

Blizkeig Commander IV - Hasty Assault

Mark and Stephen took my British at 1750 points, with effectively the same lists as before, but with two turns of preprogrammed artillery and a turn of smoke to assault my 1100 points of Germans who were in dugouts and gunpits. I chose to defend the four hills near my baseline. I has three HMGs, three mortars, two command teams and six infantry platoons, with two PAK36s teams. PAK36s and mortars on the back hill, two infantry and an HMG on the front. Infantry and Mortars in the left hill as a flank guard British stalled, turn 1 they failed to reach the table, so it took them at least four turns to advance. Artillery had landed on the right-hand hill, and rear hill, but had failed to kill anything, even with two 8 gun batteries of 25lbers . My ambush was sprung out the thicket. British infantry advancing developed an unfortunate habit of getting hit by mortars and HMGs. The British in turn 6 cleared the central hill with armour, but needed to get at least three infantry stand...
