Cruel Seas

Thanks Kerry, the torpedoes have come up a treat!

Couple of free S Boats, thanks to my old Friend Rob Thompson (all the way from Poland, no less), thanks mate, really enjoyed doing these!

After my friend John pointed out I had my guns wrong on my MkI Vospers, I bought the Warlord Games British weapons pack add-on. Well worth it. I also bought myself a tanker while visiting Boards and Swords, just because you need a target!

Upgraded Vospers

Under escourt by a Vospers

Decided my 10 Vospers needed some serious fire support, so I bought a set of Fairmile D Dog Boats
Really nice kit, had a lot of fun putting these together and painting them.

Nick Overland (of Sabresquadron fame) kindly donated his pair of Vospers to me too. Is 10 too much? I think not!

ID numbers on the sternsr as last time, it was getting hard to spot which boat was which!

Mike sent me these to add to my collection. Two more S Boats (Ace of Club and Spades for recognititon) and the Limited Edition Das Boot U96

Escorting her home...

Looks good, the logo is accurate from the series and film! :)

I like these boats.

This month's Wargames Illustrated freebies, Americans and the torpedos that came with the British MTB flotilla.

Finished 6 more MTBs that I received from the amazing Mrs Lemmey for Xmas,

Soldiers of Napoleon - French Imperial Guard vs Austrians - bad day to be a hussar.

Whilst down in Wiltshire for the Devizes comp, Nigel very kindly gifted me his 10mm Imperial Guard division from FOGN (Field of Glory Napoleonics), and although I had rebased the cavalry and generals (including painting some), the guard themselves were not finished. I scrabbled together a 900 Soldiers of Napoleon list (which turns out to be illegal, read the rules Will), and fielded it Vs Mark's undefeated Austrians. My army, including reserves, was twelve units and Mark could basically do that in two brigades! My list : Two brigades of two five Old Guard infantry, with two twelve pounders and full cassions. Guards Heavy cavalry brigade. Five Grenadiers a Chevel. Five Guards Dragoons. Three batteries of 8lber guns. Guards light cavalry brigade. Four Guards lancers, four Guards Chasseurs a Chevel. Three batteries of three 8lber guns. Mark had: An Avent Guard brigade with hussars, artillery, jagers and two infantry units, two dragoons with horse artillery as his cavalry brigade,An in...
