Two more units of foot and two extra bases. These have less
figures as they can act as scouts in the foot version (or I didn't have
enough figures for all the bases - you pick!).
Top down
Wound markers (in ReG you need two per unit, as my army might need 21 units, thats an awful LOT of possible wounds).

Oh well, here's the next batch of five units done then...
Four more bow armed cavalry units.
That's every other figures view

On patrol
Heading off
Defo looking more horde like, now up to 15 units
Extra unit of shooty cav, taking me up to the maximum of five
Plus a spare base, coz I couldn't count
Camp, which is a rebase appart from one horse team and one woman with a gun.
"Now we have to go home..." Travois on the Lewis & Clark trail?
Grey and harsh.

Scrolling through the ReG (Renatio et Gloriam) North American army lists, looking at Eastern Woodland culture (which I will finish one day), when I came across 'Great Plains and Canadian Prairie Peoples" list. On closer examination of the dates, it goes into the 1720s, and closer examinination of the list, it contains an all mounted option.
All mounted, Great Plains, while watching 'The English'. Oh hello!
Unprotected, tribal, skirmishing cavalry, never going to wound anything, or beat anything, and will probably never ever be included in any competition theme EVER, but will be at least 23 units strong and will definitely outscout EVERYONE when every mounted unit has 'pathfinder', a massssive scouting bonus!
A shed dive later, and a somewhat battered box of Plains Americans for Principles resurfaces (A4 file box, very 1990s, Will). The box was shot, and binned, but inside were my Americans.
So, rebasing...
All cavalry, good thing Pendraken do bulk 40mm x 30mm bases, all L/O which means three riders on two of the bases, two on the other.
Five units armed with mounted firearms (no one will notice that they're Winchester repeaters, in 1700s, right?). Quick count, you, I have enough for four of those.
16 bow armed mounted units, weeeeeeell... not quite, certainly enough to get going.
Two units of foot raiders - actually enough for three - with spares for at least another two units as well, maybe I can use them for earlier lists with more foot?
Generals, definitely enough of those.
Something to do while Covid isolating! Quick facebook/WhatsApp coversations with two old friends who really are experts on the period (Hi Robin and Tony), and away I went. Figures in this batch are a mix of unknown, QRF/Freikorps 15, Minifigs and Peter Pig
Rebased mounted shooters

Rebased mounted bow armed cavalry
There is the odd carbine armed shooter in there, but I'm a great believer in the mixed weapons approach
Elite horse (superior, shoot and charge, you only get one unit)

Generals - Legend and talented at the front, need suitable and non-offensive names really.
yes, the two at the back have fires for smoke signals
Need to straighten that rifle!
I also have an AWFUL lot of casualty figures. ReG uses three wounds to a kill compared to MeG's two, so these will definitely be needed!
Foot units, three out of two that I need
Ambushers and annoyances mostly
Or defense for my camp?
Oh, and a batch of new units are now being based up, taking me to 15 units, and still a long way off being finished!
