 Phil asked me to do some 28mm Perry characters for him. So here they are. Pontooneers, Wagoneers and extra characters from the 'Dualists' set. Top view; Phil will do his own basing to fit his troops in his collection. Did sneak Bowie onto the barrel though! Lots of fun

 Marjk and I got together for another fun scrap of Soldiers of Napoleon. This time I took my 10mm 1813-15 Prussians, while Mark dug out his 15mm French. A stream crossed the battlefield. A large wood sat left, a small copse right, with a hill on the right. My cavalry sat on the hill, menacing. Two hussars a unit of dragoons ans an uhlan. In the centre a brigade of infantry (2 musketeers,  a fusilier, and a landwher, with extra artillery and full caissons) To either side of the stream the rught hand brigade, with one artillery battery with a landwher cavalry unit. Mark's elite Hussars cavalry swings left, his infantry masses in the centre, and two dragoons with artillery hold the right. Mark's first card was 'Senior Commander Injured', leaving me down a command card for the whole game, and no access to rerolls. Plus this gives Mark a bunch of Victory Points. That made life somewhat difficult as Mark would always have the final say each round after playing alternate cards...

Mark and I gt together for a game of Soldiers of Napoleon.  Been a while since we played, but great fun to get a game on table again. Never have a bad game with these rules. Mark was using 15mm, me 10mm, but who cares, a unit is a unit! The table, never seen it so Spartan, a stream, and a small copse. This is not good when you are facing Mark who likes to bring at least four artillery batteries, two with full cassions special rules, so lots of rerolls and most of them are 12 pounders, so extra long range. No where to hide or break up sight lines. Good news is, I have The Imperial Guard! They can stand up to almost anything - apart from a cannonball to the face. Which is what Mark 's forces specialise in!  Both of us picked 'Steady Advance', so meet in the middle and beat each other up, what's not to like!  Mark, being an 'Avent Garde' user, used deployement 6, 'Screen' which pushes a brigade really far forwards, while I went with 3, 'Flanks Forwards...

 A lovely chap cannot paint any more, so he has asked me to paint items to help finish his collection. Wow, 2023 since I last did anything for Tom! Anyway... He dropped a few bits to finish/base/repair and/or paint, a few months back. The ones pained by Tom that I based up for him. Again, I claim no credit for the painting on most of these, as Tom's work is outstanding...
