10mm Napoleonic commission

A few 10mm Napoleonis for a client. Mostly MM, but a few Pendraken Austrian infantry mixed in. The owner will do their own basing later. Austrian infantry Top view Side on Back view Austrian ADCs and generals Back view Empress dragoons and Lancers de Berg Charge! Front on Back view French ADCs and Generals, including Lasalle. Back view Russian generals and ADCs Back view French big cheeses, Napoleon, Ney, Mrs and Mr Murat (or husbannd and Caroline Bonapart) Pendraken figures are definitely better proportioned!

Meerkats for Hammy

A quick commission for Hammy, When Hammy mercilessly crushed me with his Meerkat infantry (that I had painted for him) a few weeks back, I felt something was missing. That something was Meerkat leadership.   A quick dive onto MMs website and a Meerkat general for my great friend. Yes, he is riding an albino cobra, and he has a chain mesh over his eyes to protect from spat venom! Hammy will base to suit the rest of his army later! He is in corperate colours... I had a lot of fun researching African cobras (did you know the Indian King Cobra is NOT a cobra?) The flag shows his loyalty to the brand (and says 'Meerkats Simples' maybe) Looking whistfully at his victorious troops? Legandary general - simples! A few Magistar Militum Meerkats Spearkats and Cobrahunters Swordskats, some displaying traditional heraldry. The whole gang or mob. He will do his own basing. Simples Next?

I was bringing my Mitanni, in the massive effort to show that in this 'scissor-paper-stone-lizard-Spock' period can be fought by the equivalent of a horse archer army. Below in my list (and Cid's). Now completely illegal... The runners and riders for this competition. Cid and I ended up using EXACTLY the same army, exactly, down to every last detail!  The first two games also feature shot curtsy of Nik Gaukroger. Game 1 : The draw, I get another fight against Pete Entwistle after out tussle at Ribble Rumble . Five Hegemons is an impressive list, and Pete's armies are always beautiful. The table fell as 'dense' and it's not greatly chariot friendly is it? Waterway, hill, a town, rocky ground and woods. Yay, I out scout the Chinese by 50% This one wasn't subtle, Pete deployed on his hill, and came through a wood, ...
