10mm Later Medievals for 'God Wills It'

My forces for 'God Wills It' crusader themed competition are complete, suppose I can now declare for...

A few extra bases done...
15 bases of crossbows. Not often seen in England, but the rest of Europe was still using them, and if I want to break away to my new army and away from my Anglo-centric bias, what better way?

Why 15 bases?
a) Because many units in Crusader lists have them as back ranks, so my Henrician billmen or medieval spears make the front rank?
b) Because 15 x 8 = 90 figures and is three packs
c) Because I can't count?

Eight to a base for loose foot in MeG, also allows me to show off the loader figure at the back of each stand.

It's a lot of bolts!

To denote maybe my mounted crossbows as they dismount, or maybe the one superior foot unit in the army, and matching in with many contemporary illustrations of armoured crossbows, here are a tooled up crossbow unit.

 Side view

Stick these behind the Tudor foot knights and it gets the message across!

They just look deadly

Realised what our 'Enry was missing, heavy artillery! It will also get used in my other later medieval forces too

"Someone tell that idiot in green and yellow to move!"

He really is in the wrong place!

Mounted handgunners, in morion helmets, so will stretch into Renaissance too.

Maybe slightly late for the 1520s of my army, but I'm claiming mercenaries from the south...

Mounted crossbows. Been looking for an excuse to use these in an army as I love the sculpts and the idea of the unit, so will stretch across many Late Medieval or Renaissance units (just not Tudor English I guess)

Great sculpts

Armoured, but colourful

Generals, using Tudor English as bosses (well, Suffolk and James IV of Scotland with top of the range armour, accompanied by earlier later medieval knights as my army appears to have been rather a backwater).

The flag at this time was a darker blue and white, and I had fun finding the arms of the right king for my army.

Better view of the flag

Charge

And my mediocre general! Is that enough clues now?
Yesm I'm using Medieval Swedish with Gutav Vasa, go look it up!

This thread will see some action as my figures evolve/move sideways to become a force for MeG 'God Wills It'  competition next month...

First new unit, skirmishing handgunners. The figures are from my Imperialist set I bought in (2017?) but I figure (CENSORED) was a comparative backwater in the 1500s so their equipment can be slightly outdated.
