Warband: Hugh Elves vs Gobbos.

 Phil and I met up for a game of Warband at Leighton Buzzard Wargames club. I brought the armies, threw a few pieces of terrain on the table and we had a lot have a lot of fun. Hugh Elves +2 General (resolute & shieldwall) +2 Mage 2 x Knights  (fierce) 3 x Warriors (Resolute, shield wall) 2 x archers (formed, powerful) 1 x unicorns Gobbos +2 General (fierce) +1 Mage 4 x Warriors (fierce) 2 x Archers 2 x Wolf Riders (one with hero) 1 x Trolls Turn 1: So, getting generals to move, even when boosted, on a +4, typical! Goblins advanace, ELves sit back and wait. Skeleton stand used as measuring device! Elven cavalry and unicorns come forwards, foot lags behind, while Elven archers move up to fire. Elven CinC fails to activate (it's a running theme with ELven generals). Magic from the Shamen boosts the Wolf Riders who charge in on the Evelen Knights, while the unicorns pile into the Goblin Shamen, curtailing his casting abilities!
