Street Wars:NYC my third gang: The Devil's Outcasts

A while back Iain at Funky Skull Games/Flags of War ran a Kickstarter of his 1970s New York street gangs,

Third completed gang, The Devil's Outcast - a gift from my old friend Clive, who wanted his own gang for street fighting (and will get used on Thursday).

There really is some lovely animation on these.

The Warriors
Had a LOT of fun researching these.
(sold by Funky Skulls Games as 'The Braves')
"Warriors, come out to plaaay!"

Freehand painting their back patches was an evening's work too!

I do like these, a LOT

And if we are talking unsavoury nasty 1970s hyper violence, a Droog is needed.

I bought in with the 'Ghetto Lords' gang, which I have painted up as an Black Aces faction, based on Black Spades Gang.
"Can you diiiiiiiig it! Caaaaaaaaan youuuu diiiig it!"

So here are the gang, ready to rumble.

Went with a ruined urban feel, just like NY in the 70s

Back view to show the Black Aces (still an active gang, fighting for BLM rights, among other 'illegal' activities).

A booster was a certain Eric Draven...
Emerging from the rain

He can be used as a 'Star Player', really hard hitter hired game at a time.

Iain as a freebie for backers had his Funky Skull logo made into a character - perfect for zombie games!

V funky!

Warhammer Old World - Goblins vs Empire, Batlle of The Hilly Hill

"Oi, where's the rest of the army?" Stumpy Jason turned round to the musician Thumpy Jason. "We's only playing 1000 points!" "Oh right. But why are there more Empire 'ooomans than us then?" the Goblin Wolfrider capatin pondered. Mort and I met up for a game of Warhammer Old World. I chose my Goblins, with only 1000 points. This led to me taking a unit of spears, with the army standard, a unit of archers, a spear chucker and some wolf riders. A level 1 mage, my general on a giant squig and Stumpy Jason rounded out my selection. I was tooled up with magic standards and characters, so half my points were tied up in characters. Mort had two units of mounted pistolliers, a spear unit, two detachments , one of handgunners, one of halbardiers, and a small unit of knights. Two characters were embedded in his spears and one pistolliers, and a mage strode forwards with the halbardiers. My wolves and general went left, archers, spears, bolt chucker and...

Mortal Gods - Three Sided scrap - finding the treasure.

Typhon woke up, his head was banging, and there would definitely be a new scar on hi sarm... "Nice to see you can take a knock too!" Leandros looked over at the archer. Polykratos sat on a nearby boulder, helmet and shield at his feet, sword bloodied, he was smiling at his two fellow fighters. "Nice to see you two sleepy heads. By the way, we won! Spartans and Etruscans all sent packing, treasures secrured!" Dave, David and I met up for a game of Mortal Gods. Mark was meant to be joining us, but he had to call off. This is only a quick report, as we were haing too much of a laugh! Six objecties were scattered across the field, which you have to find and hold until the end of turn 5. One would go live on a roll of '6', if an action was expended on it. The others then are empty. Three sides means two corners and an edge. 450 points each. I was nearest, Dave the other corned, David the opposite edge.My standard warband took to the field, with their eyes firmly...
